World Language

The World Language program provides varied language learning opportunities and resources to all CPS students so they can become proficient in one (or more) language other than English. The World Language program is consistent with the current district priorities and its vision of promoting multilingualism, bi-literacy and inter-cultural flexibility as key contributors to students’ academic success, preparation for higher education, careers and participation in the global community. Kelly High School offers World Languages in Spanish and Mandarin. Students are required to get the minimum of 2 credits in the same World Language.
