Armando and Eric have provided a space for our young men to feel understood. They are continuously developing the students they interact with. For some of our diverse learners, this is one of the places they can be heard without judgment. I have seen growth in several BAM members throughout the last few weeks because of their constant motivation and support.

Integrity

Last week, as Elizabeth was walking in the third floor hallway, she saw Mr. Wallace struggling to prevent a physical altercation between two students.  Several students were trying to help, but the situation was very chaotic. Without hesitating, Elizabeth dropped her bookbag to the floor with one quick movement and ran to get extra help.  She was unable to return for several minutes and might easily have lost her belongings (I picked it up for safe-keeping and located her in the her next class to return it.), but she was altruistically motivated.  Her actions were exceptional and are the type you rarely see in people at any stage of life.

Mrs. Audiffred is an amazing person to work with. I go into the office and ask for many special requests. She is determined to help me find a way to get my requests met, she is persistent when I come with a new follow up request, she shows integrity as she knows that my requests are for the benefit of the students/parents and is willing to accomodate not only me but the student/parents as well. She helps me stay resilient when a possible problem arises from my request and finally, she shows a great amount of empathetic concern, as she knows that I am in distress trying to fulfill the needs of our students/parents and helps me get through the journey with the best results possible. It is a pleasure to know and work with Mrs. Audiffred.
